Isaac,
I'm writing to you from your family's estate; Lucius has been gracious enough to provide me with very accommodating quarters. I'm very grateful.
However, I write to you on a matter of business. Salararius Emiliana Blackwell, officer in your Fourth, has recently made me aware that your legion is no longer stationed at the Schild Mountains but rather is dispersed throughout the whole of the Valley. I will not debate with you the strategy involved, but I will share some information and a suggestion.
On a recent sojourn north, I assisted the Whurest dwarves in repelling a Bloodmaim raiding party; the orcs have trekked north and are wreaking havoc. The dwarves themselves are unused to the augmented strength of the Bloodmaim, and they're overmatched. I have no Triadic knights to spare, and I, myself, can not remain north due to my duties to both Wrath and my temple.
As your legion is currently without a dedicated station (if your Salararius speaks truly), I would suggest that a portion of your Fourth be stationed in the icy north to help the Whurest repel the Bloodmaim raiders and help keep open our very precious trade routes. I would further suggest that, given her resounding success in commanding an allied coalition against the Bloodmaim at Arbiter's Stand, that Salarius Emiliana Blackwell be stationed in that detachment, as her experience in both defeating the Bloodmaim and commanding a mismatch of forces should prove invaluable.
Gratitude to your family for its generosity, Isaac. I hope this letter finds you in good health and temperament.
