Magus James Arrow begins to haunt the Hand libraries for frequently in search of Initiates and offers them powerful spells from his Grimoire in exchange for a month of service in the Mossdale.

He also begins to mount longer expeditions into the forest with others and uses the proceeds to buy ingredients for cheap but effective potions that he mixes and provides to soldiers being sent out on patrols.
