  • Correspondence to Sembia loss management

    Gentlemen,

After inquiry with the Legion of Sundren I have gained a preliminary understanding of the lacking reports of shipments sent to Sundren recently. There are reports of assaults on the caravans of lethal intent. This does not appear to be due to banditry as by in large, they have not been removing the trade goods. Given the limited overland trade to Sundren in my opinion, this appears to be an act of preliminary siege actions limiting availability of resources. I advise should overland trading be continued the utilization of armed escorts. In regard to Ports and shipping lanes, should this prove to be sabotage with military intent, it may be wise to arm the merchant vessels.

Given that this continues to be an ongoing investigation headed by the Sundarian Legion further negotiations of fault and recompense for financial loss in this event will be differed through their agents. Further investigations may be needed should this be another aggression against Exigo as they have international representation which may prove a concern to all those countries in which they operate.

In conclusion of this assignment, I formally submit my resignation in accordance with my contractual assignment to identify the reason for failed communications from those traders. I will remain available for private assignments while in Sundren where I will take up my trade as a weapon smith working with Exigo within their interests here.

    Respectfuly,

    Gentlemen,

Further review of the Sundarian situation has proven unregistered vessels near the harbor and around the immediate shipping lanes. It becomes more obvious to me that the situation here has become such that if steady trade is to be continued we must do so in bulk shipments under heavy defense. It concerns me that the veteran Blackwood soldiers have not been deployed further to contain this aggression.

The Exigo shipping wagons which were found destroyed within the Sundarian boarders are believed to have been used to smuggle personnel and possibly arms within the country. It is a situation by which we may wish to turn out attentions toward military supply to Sundren more than common trade goods. a strong profit could be gained in this.

Being satisfied with my findings that the goods which have gone mission are indeed tied to these unknown aggressions and combining shipments in heavier loads which unfortunately will slow transportation time, using heavy armed escorts will create sufficient profits to constitute these measures.

I hereby formally conclude this assignment and direct future inquries to the Sundren Legion offices for requisition of military intelligence to ensure safe transport of goods.

As well, I submit my resignation from the loss management division of the Sembia market financial council to pursue private business as my formal trade of a Weapons smith. I wish you the best in future endeavors and administrations.
