Some hours after midday, on [Faerunian date] I came across a massacre on the Valley Road leading to the Gate of the Sunderer. Due to the utter carnage the number of victims could not be identified. Specualatorii Osclaw Wiltenholm appeared on the scene and took charge of the investigation. He instructed a druidess to search the scene, but a pack of large wolves appeared and began to consume the bodies that were not pulp. The druidess and a gnome barked at the wolves, but that didn't help matters. The wolves attacked and were handily dispatched. A hin previously identified as 'Jen' appeared on the scene, followed by a small band of Legionnaires from the 7th. Jen had come across the scene earlier and reported the incident tot he 7th. Specualatorii Wiltenholm retrieved two of the wolf heads with intent to question the Keeper as to the nature of the animal attacks and then ordered me to return to the city and file my report.
