  • Adressed to Tyrsis, Proprietor of the Menacing Mariner

    Dear Mr. Tyrsis,

Greetings to you! My name is Quincy Cessius and I would like to buy the Menacing Mariner ("Establishment" from here out), located in Port Avanthyr. for a very abundant sum of gold, although I am willing to negotiate for the price of your fine establishment, I think you will be most willing to accept my offer.

My offering price for your establishment is one thousand gold pieces (1,000 Stags), I am also willing to continue your employment at the establishment with a short one year contract, with the contract comes a small pay raise.

If you do not sign this letter, at the bottom of the page where the X is presented, and send it to my address within a week, I will assume that you except my offer and we will exchange deed and gold on a later date, that will be detailed in the next letter that I send to you, at the end of the week of consideration stated above.

    X _______________ ( Sign here, if denied)

    Signed,
    Quincy Cessius

OOC: With this letter,I am trying to convey that I want to purchase the Menacing Mariner from Tyrsis, the bartender and owner of the Menacing Mariner. Yet, what I'm really trying to do is get a copy of his hand writing and his signature so I may try a Forgery check, to fake a contract between me and him stating that I now own his tavern. Also, I have no idea what a week is game time, so it will simply start on 5/2/2010 to 5/9/2010

Tyrsis chuckles and stuffs the letter into a pocket. A short while later he is seen discussing something with a group of shadowy individuals in one of his bars many booths - The crumpled letter is shown around to much laughter.

The shadowy men leave a short while later, strolling off into the night with an air of purpose.
