  • A letter to the university

Cel scrawls a letter in a dim corner of the university hall, perched atop a pedestal at one time intended for a bust. Upon completion she seals it and troops off to find some manner of administrative assistant.

    To Whom it May Concern,

I was thrilled to discover an institution of higher learning was already soundly established within the walls of our fair city, and write now out of interest in enrolling in, or, at least, contributing to, your august academic center. By way of brief introduction, allow me to say I am a Diviner, a theologian, and a priestess of Savras. I am especially interested in any manner of scrying equipment you may have on the grounds: crystal balls, focus runes, particularly elegant mirrors, the innards of especially prescient sheep, et cetera.

Even barring any sort of entrance into the classroom, I should greatly appreciate any opportunity to speak with any staff versed in divination, theology, or script deciphering, as I've every confidence such a working relationship would be of everyone's best interest. Please accept my appreciation for your time, and may Fate favor you always.

    Sincerely,
    Celeste Tritsi.

    Celeste,

The university thanks you for your interest in our establishement of higher learning. Currently the quarterly semester is underway and there are no classes that start up mid-term. As a visitor, you are always welcome to come to the campus grounds and discuss academia with off duty faculty, students, and any other visitor such as yourself that prefers our setting.

The equipment you quearied about is available, but only to those that are working staff and/or students that require such mechanisms in order to persue their directive. To become one of the faculty is not a matter that is quickly decided upon and such an affiliation is something that is earned through time and knowledge.
