To Whom It May Concern,
As of recent, the Order of the Vigilant Eye have been looking for a locale to hold on certain consistant dates, an auction. As you and I are perhaps well aware, the port is a frequent stop of both veteran and freshly arrived adventurers alike and it comes as no surprise that more often then not they are looking for better equipment, armor and weapons in which to gear themselves in their excursions.
This auction looks to do exactly that, to offer to them, potentially better gear and equipment but in the form of an auction, so that they might bid amongst themselves the price of a particular item.
Moving along to the point, I have just this day paid a visit to your city hall and I must say I am rather impressed with it's design. The podium, along with the positioning of built in seats lining the back and side would make it the perfect location to hold an auction. However as it is the City Hall it is not my place to hold such an event without permission.
That, is the point of this letter, I would request that we be allowed the use the City Hall for our auctions this coming Fifth or Sixth Day some time between high noon and Selune's beginning trek across the skies [Saturday, March 9 (or) 10; (between)12-5pm]. If you would kindly send correspondence to Kai Nightwind at the Sestra inn in regards to whether or not those particulate times and dates could be open it would be appreciated. In the end, the auction should take no more then half the hour to a passsing hour.
There is of course the matter of compensation for utilizing such a fine structure. And I do believe, that the donation of 10% in all funds accrued via the auction to Port Avanthyr for this service would be most fair. Our success, will go to your benefit, the more, the better.
