  • Making their Presence Known

The Legion has dispatched two units of men to Mirakus and Aquor in response to recent developments. The force is large, but an exact number at each location is difficult to assess.

Some of the men look a bit "green," but their demeanor is surprisingly professional, especially at Mirakus. Some believe they have very strict orders to be on their "best behavior" to keep order in the eroding environment around the tent city.

Sam notices the increase in Legion presence at Mirakus Post with a sigh of relief. Since the refugess have arrived at Mirakus she was busy trying to cheer them up and give them hope, in addition to the work she has at the Triumvirate sometimes.

Cybil sighs and smiles, hoping that this will help give the refugees some hope that they might be back in their own homes soon.

"Perhaps this is the first step; you'll still need to liaise with them though, " she turns to the corsairs, "They might be able to take Sestra, but it will likely be your responsibility for you and your family to keep it. With the help off all those here, including those working on behalf of the Triumvirate, you'll be back and stable again."

Cybil goes off to find out when they will be able to get the samples, and find a way to neutralize the spell that affects those that enter the humid zone.

Cybil heard the call to arms. No time had been given yet to properly study the crystals. She has a few ideas, one, oddly enough from watching Cirions curse. The undead were affected adversely by the effects of healing energy; perhaps the crystals would be as well. She set up a shield infront of her, and a mirror, so she could see any results safely at an angle; if it did blow up, she didn't want it to do it in her face.

She laid the second one farther away; this should have less effect, she thought to herself. One other thing at her disposal that was not opposite, but blocked the effects of negative energy, was Death Ward. She started with this crystal first, expecting it not to blow up, and hopefully simple scrying spells would help her see if the effect was blocked, or neutralized.

She then went back to the first experiment, there, under a tree, well away from the people of Mirakus and the refugees of Sestra. If both of these failed to show any effect, she would simply have to try a Protection from Evil spell on a third sample.
