  • Arrival of an Individual

Endless waves, uncountable threats of storms, uncountable threats IN storms, All very fantastic. Yeah, I'm about done with all this traveling.
I rest over a thick, solid wooden railing on the deck of the Leising. It's some kind of merchant/passenger ship, heck I just showed them a bag of gold and said "Let me stay for a few days" And that was the end of the conversation. They all seemed to be an okay crew, nothing really to complain about it...

Doesn't help that my memory of the past few days... maybe weeks have been so blurred up by fragments that i'm afraid to even say anyone's name in trust to my memory. The captain's been bothered enough by me without calling him some ten different names the whole trip. I look out at the expanse of sea facing away from the mainland, letting out a little sigh. This boat sure was the fastest way to travel to... whatever I was headed to. Its so hard to explain... just some...

"Aye, We'll be dockin' soon enough miss Aeriya, last one before we start headin' south again."

I turn and look to the man's voice, he was just your classical young sailorman. Sleeveless shirt, un-descript leggings, tiny scruffles marking where his beard is barely growing... I nod to him a little.

    "Okay... What do you know-"

The sailor interrupts and answers my question, since i've asked it every single time we've approached a port.

"called Avanthyr, well the port. Its further north than the Sword Coast, in a 'lill valley west of the Spine of the World. Dunno what kingdom's there, just that theres people wantin' to spend some gold."

One sailor walking behind him carrying a rather large barrel of rum slips, a grunt of surprise coming out from the man before he plops down onto the floor, the prized barrel rolling forwards and actually goes through an open door that leads to the lower decks... I can hear the barrel toppling down the stairs, making a few people yelp and run away from the barrel, a loud "Oohf!" coming from the lower decks shortly after the yelp.
I snicker while the sailor infront of me had already turned to the slipped sailor, sighing lightly

"'EY JONS! Your gonna kill someone like that someday!"

He says, stomping after the barrel shortly after his incredibly short lecture. The man just rubs his head with a somewhat annoyed face, behind helped up by me shortly after the sailor left after the Barrel.

    "Ah, thanks."

The man says, rushing after the other sailor after a second, making me snicker a little again.
Probably the most entertaining thing i've seen the whole trip. And thats really saying something to the dull atmosphere of the Leising.
