  • The Diary of a Revolutionary.

"I find myself pondering the meaning of the word, revolution. Is it the change of ideals or the transition of power from one group onto another. Are revolutions nothing more but a refuge for scoundrels? rebellion, and all-around hell-raising?

No. I find them to be the duties of any true patriot. I find that In a time of deceit , telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

I have tried to speak with my fellow country-men but they are blinded to the truth, All their lives they have spent their time underneath a curtain of lies. and I swear to them, I shall be the candle that guide's them through the darkness. As I struggle against my own vice's to make this land one I would be proud to call home."

"What does it mean to be accepted? I find myself feeling hatred for that which I cannot understand, am I an intolerant person? Do my ideals of change and freedom restrict the will and freedom of others?

Perhaps. But I believe that I'm righteous in my goal's. I find that human's are like animal's, ignorant of their own existence. Never questioning the powers at hand. They wish security, but to me security is when everything is controlled, when nothing can happen to you. Security is the denial of life.

And its my civil duty to protect my fellow country-men as a shepherd must look after his sheep, guide them to the pasture's through the valley of darkness. And protect them from the wolves."

"Strength, do I lack the strength to fight for my country-men and be their shepherd against the wolves? Is Strength even that important?

Yes. I am weak, I cannot not protect myself nor can I hope to protect another.

Those very words haunt my mind, but I have found that my strength lies solely in my tenacity. I will not falter from the path presented before me. I shall crawl even if I can't walk. I will move forward no matter what. And I shall fight. For I believe it to be my destiny."

"I find myself wondering why so many thrive from strife, what do they wish to accomplish through conflict. Only sorrow, suffering and shame can be gained through the blood of mortals. There is no glory in tyranny nor is there glory in the oppressed masses of the holy crusaders who gleefully spread their lies of liberty, and justice. They are just a different form of oppressor.

Our problems as a people, a nation. Cannot be solved through conflicts of interest nor can they be solved by rallying behind the banner of a holy warrior, a demonic beast. We must strive for a peaceful resolution to our problems. And for those who fight behind a banner of righteousness or that of tyranny.

I say this to you. If you are to make peaceful revolution impossible then your only making violent revolution inevitable, For the only true weapon of one who seeks peace , freedom and liberties for all is not the sword but the quill."

"What is a hero? A couple of day's have gone by since I was called a hero.

But I am no hero, I am nothing more than just a man.
Nothing but a coward fulfilling the most basic of desires...life, and so I ran and I failed the people of Sestra.

Hero's are the ones who set ablaze a torch in the dingy streets of life for others to see the light.

Me a hero? Who would I be fooling? Only myself, I am just a man and nothing more."

"It has been quite some time since I have interacted with my fellow country-men, and now at the day of my arrival back into the heartland I have seen the taint of evil in the holiest of men, as the excess of virtue is the equivalent of vice."

"I have written of guiding my fellow country-men through the darkness, and I have found that in my absence they had turned to others to be their shepherds guiding their every step, but I say this. The most pathetic of people are those who have sight, but lacks vision, and vision I have seen lacking in my people and in their shepherds.”

“All truly blinded by their vices of virtues, we as men and women cannot live under a banner free of vice, as it serves only to restrict life its self. And I say this with conviction, those who wish to restrict life, are no better than those who walk the path of tyrants."

"What is power? And what does it mean to hold it? Today many seek and claim it as their own, without consensus of others around them they force their will and mold it into reality. Their power held by few is reckless and abusive. Yet many claim and cling to the belief that they know what is best may they be, paladins, soldiers, rebels or fear-mongers. They all wish to claim it for their own. Seems to me as though power means power-over others. Where does that leave us? The poor, the hungry, the sick, the tired, the workers. We are stepped on and forgotten. Especially now, where a soldier can cut down a man simply for speaking his mind.

We the meek are the ones who toil the land and have made it what it is today, yet our voices are silenced by those who cling to their power and their flawed wills, for they are not the will of the people, they are not 'our' voice and I shall allow not allow them to be much longer."
