The cloaked figure walked steadily down the dusty road, the starry night above him bathing him in Selune's radiance. The dust on his boots trailed behind him wistfully, the particles dancing wildly around his feet. He stopped suddenly, glancing at the gates into the land of Sundren for the second time in his life. A guard at the gate walked over, as he saw him approach for the last long while.
"Excuse me, but I will have to verify your identity if you wish to be allowed in." The guard tried to peek under the hood, but took a step back as the figure pulls his hood back to stare at the guard with eyes blacker than any night. His long ponytail fell over his right shoulder, and his spectacles glinted in the glare of the torchlight.
He swept back his coat revealing his outlandish armor and curved blades hanging by his side.
"My name is Mirumoto Akagi, Servant of the Emperor of Shou and sworn warrior to Lady Sol Sunderkin. If you would be so kind, let me in." He bowed at the waist, his cloak pooling around him.
The guard stared at him blankly and nodded a bit weakly. "Ah. Yes. Of course."
Mirumoto nodded. "You have my most humble thanks." He pulled his hood back on and made his way towards Sundren City.
The Eastern Dragon had returned.
