Max preferred to have a good night's sleep before greeting the dawn, but tonight he had his orders. He would keep away the night and shadow until the dawn returned, maintaining the light of day eternally if he had to. Lathander was with him, and guided him always.

Lifting himself off the of the rough planks of the floor Logan looks around trying in vain to place the faces of the various people coming and going in the busy CityHall. Charlie, the guard assigned directly to his cell, had said that his memory would return soon however it had been days and Logan could recall nothing of the circumstances leading to his suppose "death" or his past in general. Passing the time with pleasant and mostly one-sided conversation with Janice the mayor's secretary he waited placantly for dinner to be served.
