5 Kythorn 1372 – Year of Wild Magic
Praise to the Seldarine!
Who would have thought that I would find a decent bath house in the wilds of Sundren. While it cannot compare to the refinement of an elven bath house, it is decent none the less. Besides the bath, there is a room for steam and a room for dry heat. They even have several cooling pools scattered throughout the building. I almost entered Reverie while relaxing in the bath, but was startled by the sudden feeling of pain. I guess the water was a little hotter than I thought.
It dawned on me that it had been six years since I had been in an elven bath house. Six Years! Six years since I left home. Six years since I immersed myself into the realms of dwarves and men in a feeble attempt to ease my pain. Six years to dull the memory of Elora. My sweet, sweet Elora. Sometimes I envy the fleeting and shallow emotions of the race of men.
If only my heart could heal as well as my body. Looks like most of my scars during the last six years of adventuring have faded nicely. Much like my gold it seems. Since arriving in Sundren, I have been running miscellaneous errands to earn a bit of gold and learn more about the city. Learning magic is easy, but EXPENSIVE!!! Armor is expensive as well, but a good set of armor will last a while. Learning magic is a life long occupation.
I should go find some food, then practice my martial forms and study a few spells from my spellbook. Then maybe add a few more thought to my journal if I am not too tired.
