In a red leather book covered in magic symbols Katie Blake records her thoughts. The writing switches often between gnomish, elvish, and draconic, sometimes every other words, sometimes every other sentance.

I'll damn myself if I have to.. but I'll do what is necessary, and the people I love won't have to compromise their principles or get hurt trying to do it the mysterious "other way" that they keep insisting exists...
