A character who murders is not necessarily evil in alignment, one act of evil does not constitue an evil alignment. Therefore, if you witnessed someone commit a murder, don't expect protection from alignment or smite evil to work.

I would be compelled to agree, however, murder is the highest act of evil that man can commit. If a genuinly good or neutral person has a temporary loss of sanity (i'm assuming temporary sanity, because good and neutral don't kill in cold blood) and accidentally murders someone, they would probably spend thier entire life seeking redemption for such a heinous act. In my opinion, I really think the classic 'one act of evil doesn't not constitute an alignment shift' arguement doesn't hold much water in the case of murder. Perhaps manslaughter, but not murder. Let's be realistic.

Also, Scarlett, I would suggest you keep playing this character with two personas, it is a good idea. However, I suggest toning down the contrast between the two personalities. One being dreadfully evil and the other being a Cleric of Kelemvor, is a bit too complex to deal with in a multiplayer environment.

Also, I suggest doing research on learning how to Role-play a Cleric in a Forgotten Realms setting. This will help strengthen you position if you decide to do something imaginitive again. Your knowledge base of DnD and The Forgotten Realms appears to be very low at this juncture, so your ideas don't hold any sort of volume whatsoever.

Shes LE though, not CE...everyone jumps on the pure evil banner when I say shes evil, when she in fact has standards and personal code. She also still follows Kelemvors Dogma when Scarlett is in control of the body. The difference being how they handle other people and those who get in the way of her duties.

Maybe, but it might still be a good idea to read or talk up some more knowledge of clerics, deities, magic and all that stuff.
