  • The Puppeteer

Hano grinned to himself as he sat down writing the letter. His conversation with Logan ringing in his mind, inspiring him, and it was more than apparent. He understood.. The insight was a gift and what was happening was a bigger gift. "It's all a play and we've been dancing along with it the whole time. The puppeteers must feel like Gods watching us move around and follow their strings. Heh. Our advantage, now."

He pauses a moment and lets a sigh escape him. Talking to himself in a relaxed tone, he slinks down into the chair. "Heh.. I can only guess how things will go, but in the end... I'll be able to smile at her even if she is the one to extract my last breath. It'll be worth it." He continues to dab his quill in the ink, but not to write, simply doing so instinctively while he is lost in thought.

"Osclow, brother.. You're going to be the gear that moves everything into motion. Spoony bard, with that captivating humor. Will it work? No idea... As I said, we have the advantage of being only seen as puppets. Lets see if I can make use of this. Lets see if your pen is mightier than my sword."

He drops the quill in the ink and begins to massage his left hand, however unlike normal, with a grin. "It's getting colder."

"So quickly..." the Paladin thought leaning against the stone walls of Helm's Barracks. "...I didn't expect everything to move so quickly." A bit restless, he pushes himself off the wall and eyes the door expecting any minute now for Sol to step from the barracks. He hadn't the faintest idea of what she was talking about with him, but knew without a doubt she indeed was able to find him.

"Golems, eh?" He lets his eyes wander to the streets where the snow fell softly on the cobblestone roads, quickly melting away. He mutters to himself getting lost in his thoughts once more.

"Now.. Lets see if the Paladin that lost all of his credibility, that was abandoned by most of his city... With whatever allies still remain loyal at his side, can come back around full-circle. After all the beatings and failures we've taken, who would suspect such a lowly Paladin and his friends?" He follows the drifting snow up to the skies and lets out a silent sigh of relief, relaxing behind his smile.
