His eyes burned with righteous fury the whole adventure. Ever since he laid Tamryn's broken body down on the bed. Ever since he was given the letter.
His thoughts and mind were focused, more than they had ever been in he could ever recall. He had never felt so close to Torm, never felt his passion and rage burning through the blood of his Servant. "The Necropolis... Mestra thinks she can toy with me? Play with Tamryn's life under my very own watch!? No more! I will show her we will not stand for this!" He pushed out of the Temple marching through the streets, relentlessly to the Necropolis to answer the call for aid.
"Now I will show her... I will show her what happens when someone dares to defy Torm - The people I must protect! That her crimes will not go unanswered - I will show her pet what will happen when one dares stand against us! Vengeance? Rage? Tch! You face much more, Mestra! I will wrap my fingers around your neck and pry your eyes open so you can stare Tyr in his blind eyes, to suffer from his Judgment! The Loyal Fury's wrath!"
And it was said. The Paladin would join the allies that called for his help - That called him to the Necropolis. Anger, love, passion, convictions, all empowering the Knight to press through the hordes of undead, the mass gathering of Black Advent and their creatures. With his allies at his side, treading waist deep in the blood of many, they never faltered. Each of them understood what they would face, and what they must do when they faced him. Even against the large juggernaut forged from nothing more than blood and magic. Never once did they hesitate.
And now.. Now they stood before the man they sought from the very beginning the traitor, the Black Knight of Bane. Standing before the Tormite and allies, laughing at all of them and their attempts, extending his black gauntlets to the alter before him, cackling maniacally as Bane gifted him favor and through that, strength.
The adventurers paused in awe, standing side by side as the Knight drew powers from Bane himself. Each of them offering their prayers to their respective Gods and whispering final words for what might become of them. Today they stood as many against one, but there was no doubt in their mind how powerful the man before him had become.
Hano ran the tips of his gauntlet down his blade, calling its name and crying for Torm's strength. "Bane Slayer! Today we will claim one more! The Servant of the God you had once slain!" And with that he charged the Black Knight who patiently waited for his assault with a conceited smile.
Too quick. Too rash. The Paladin was immediately struck down as his allies jumped over him to engage the Black Knight. Hano laid on the ground as his vision dimmed. "...It's getting colder... Not now... Tamryn." The cries of battle, clashing of steel and plate, were all dimmed to a silence as the Paladin drifted away in thought of his lover, staring endlessly into his left hand. "...Not colder... Not now, please."
The battle had turned against him - Jos'iah quickly fell as well and now only Maximillian, Cirion, and Varnz stood against the Knight. "No.." Hano muttered as a bubble of blood burst from his mouth. He had to fight.. The pain? The wounds? Shit. This was for the people. For Tamryn.
He collected himself, pushing himself off the ground, even as his vision faded into blurs of colors and distorted motions. He searched the floor around him for his blade... He had lost it when he was so easily felled by the first strike. His vision.. He couldn't find it, not against the floor covered in blood and bones. He grit his teeth, pushing the blood from his mouth and then held out his left hand. He managed to focus enough to concentrate his efforts on the Knight and the unbearable evil his aura carried.
"BANE SLAYER!" Hano cried, charging the dark figure who had been battling against the three other figures, his allies. Armor clashing against itself with each step padded by the thin pool of blood beneath him. All easily silenced by the sounds of battle. Bane Slayer, loyal to him as Hano had been loyal to Torm, answered his cry and found its way back into his grasp. The Divine Spirit pulsing through the blade, as it did in Hano's heart.
"Keep going.. Keep going.. Ilmater, suffer my wounds just for a little longer, just a little longer! Lend me your might, Loyal Fury! So that I may pass Tyr's judgment! Tamryn...!"
He continued his prayers rushing toward Omnigalas, but tide of the battle had already changed in his favor, even before Hano could make his way there. The three turned the battle around full-circle gaining the advantage. Omnigalas lost his momentum... He left himself open.
"This is it!" Hano screamed within his mind, leaping with Bane Slayer wrapped within his grasp. One final strike to bring Omnigalas down. Bane Slayer crashed into the side of Omnigalas, taking him to the ground as Hano stumbled on top of him.
Instinctively the Paladin took the Knight of Bane's blade and kicked it to the side, repositioning himself over him and clutching at his throat. Crying into the Dark Helm that shielded his face, "OMNIGALAS! Traitor!" Hano jerks the man around with no hint of mercy. "LOOK ME IN THE EYES! LOOK ME IN THE EYES AND EMBRACE YOUR JUDGMENT - NOT FROM BANE! BUT TODAY FROM A SERVANT OF THE LOYAL FURY! "
He looks to the ceiling still jerking Omnigalas around and cries, spitting blood over his armor and the helm of the Knight below him. "Witness this, Mestra! Bane! Your pet, who has failed you! This is what you all will face! You can not escape us! The people! You will embrace retribution for the sins you have committed against us! For Tamryn! For everyone that has suffered them! Let this be our testimate to our strength and will to survive! You can not break the people - They will break you!"
