To the People of Sundren, many and wide:
Let it be known, this Kythorn 3, 1372, that the Thayan Embassy in Sundren, inhabited by the great Red Wizards and Knights from the mighty land of Thay, does hereby declare its support of the Church of Helm in its initiative to secure Genum's Cube.
Furthermore, we state with firm confidence that the Triumvirate and the Hands of Mundus have subjected Sundren to immeasurable harm and danger through improper, misguided, and irresponsible behavior with the device in question. Despite receiving council from a great many authorities on the matter, despite being implored to take great care, the audacious Triumvirate, led in fault and error by the Church of Torm and High Adjudicators Balthasar and Caspar, have brought possible damnation and destruction. Too, the Hands of Mundus have failed in their charge to uphold the values and will of Sundren's great founder, and quite possibly turned this land to ruin.
Respectfully, we, the representatives of the Nation of Thay, remind the people of our previous offer to purchase Genum's Cube. The Red Wizards of Thay committed to removing this artifact from Sundren, as the Helmites have, and our actions to rid the nation of this device would have eliminated the possibility of Sundren falling into the situation it now finds itself in. Regretfully, the Triumvirate failed to see the wisdom in our offer, as they have when dealing with many other organizations they privately dislike.
Moving forward, the Red Wizards and Knights of Thay hereby declare our full support of the Church of Helm, and offer any resources at our disposal to help recover the artifact. When the Red Wizards and the Church of Helm have successfully resolved the issue at hand, we will most certainly demand the Triumvirate and the Hands of Mundus answer for their ineptitude.
