  • The lesser seeks the greater

Putting his pad aside, Larando de'Kaun sighs as he contemplates what he's been reading. His in-depth conversation with Calandra had been replayed a hundred times in his head. And ever since his first encounter with the mage Rismal, it had become an incessant urge to meet the powerful mage. With some research, Larando had come to learn Rismal's affiliation with the Hands of Mundus and his typical wherabouts.
Much to Larando's dissapointment, Rismal was not at the hold at the base of the Schild Mountain when he went there in search of the mage. Before leaving, he scribbled out a note stating his great intrest in an audience with Rismal and left it with the guard also leaving word that Larando could be reached at his home in the Thayan Enclave should the mage wish to send for him.
As Larando left, the words uttered by Rismal the day Larando encountered him rang in heavy in the young mage's head. It's amazing what you can do when you mix transmutation and necromancy.
