  • How many Characters are we allowed?

Hi, just a quick question, are we only allowed one character, because I tend to use 2-3. Some PWs have limits, I seen the rules on Meta-gaming, but I didn't see anything about how many we're allowed to play. Pre-thanks

You are allowed to have as many characters as Godbeast is able to play.

            hehe

Cool, I'm just hopeing this doesn't turn into another "Super-build" server where everyone makes about the same classes just because they're powerful. that stuff kinda killed my last PW experiance.

Here's the deal: With a roleplaying server, if you have too many characters, you will never be completely involved with any storylines or activities. In order for a character on a roleplay server to be effective and be a recogniseable persona, it's important to be around all the time. That means, when you are on, make sure it's the same character you intend to make your mark on Sundren with. I usually have one hardcore roleplay character that I use for all major storylines, events, and developments. I have one character for light roleplay when DMs are not on or busy with other people. And then I have one character made for the sole purpose of exploration and adventuring. Three is a good limit and in some cases I've only used two due to time constraints. You will probably only ever see me on two max due to my time limitations on my schedule...

I intend to reap your sorrow slowly and have ages to discover the things that make you suffer... I am eager to revel in the sweet melody of your screams and the melancholy of your despair..."

I suggest having one to three. You need at least one character, obviously, and at three you're still well known without being stuck as one persona. I don't know of an official restraint, however.

I say have as many as you want, but based on your play time. Characters that aren't in play just aren't in play. If you don't get on them regularly, then you have to keep coming up with excuses why your character is missing everything.

                    Sweet

I had created three characters when I first started on Sundren. Within two days they disappeared from the vault. I thought maybe that one was the limit. Then I created Bram.... Good to know I can create more than one without losing them.
