Mittens quietly listens to a couple travelers describe Karthus as they discuss the wanted poster. Thinking at how much this "Karthus" resembles the "soldier" that tried to kick the Whitepaw tribe out of Schild, a broad smile crosses her face. Wandering off to find Qybox, Mittens sniffs at the ground, looking for the scent.
Butch: "You know, when I was a kid, I always thought I was gonna grow up to be a hero."
Sundance: "Well it's to late now."

    Toons:
    Mittens Whitepaw (Feral Druid),
    Rose Thimblefoot (Simple Seamstress),
    Melody Mourningsoul (Cursed Bard)
Katalina Zephyr (Guardian of the Grave)
Gabrielle Dumoine (the Duchess of Waterdeep... 'onestly...)

Cade snatches a post off the nearest wall. "Karthus!" he says out loud.

" 'oi, 'at bastard magus kiood my 'usband 'e did" a voice said from behind. " 'e was just part 'ah the wach' "...

An older woman trails of weeping of her dead husband. Cade turns and looks at the woman as she walks out of sight.

"I have to find Yashia.." Cade thought... and ran.

Overhearing the woman speak of Karthus and his murder of her husband, he listens further, intrigued by such a story, eventually it leads to talk of the wanted poster (which he can't read) and when the name is said finally, all he can do is think, "IDIOT", and hustles off to inform the Keeper of Karthus's actions and let him decide wether the forest should continue to shelter a man, who might bring down the legions of Sundren upon it for him.

A muscled wood elf walks up to the wanted poster. He runs his hand through his untamed hair, the hand drops to his chin to scratch it as a curious and questioning look cross the elven features of the woodsmen. Folding his arms the elf seems stumped, seemingly like he almost doesn't understand what the poster is asking.

A look of inspiration crosses his face and he shakes his head. His face betrays the simplicity of the answer he came to as he clear is surprised it took him as long as it did.

"I hope I can track a man of that skill in Druidic ways.... we shall see."
Sylleth Duskmere - Wood Elf Ranger

Zuddoc Svint - Rock Gnome Socerer
"Strangers are just people you haven't killed yet."

"If you build a fire for a man, you'll keep him warm for a day, but if you light a man on fire, you'll keep him warm for the rest of his life."

Annie reads the poster, then looks around as if expecting the vile criminal to jump out at her right here. She makes sure Mathilda is close, and walks hurriedly back to meet her friends. Surely, hardened adventurers such as they can protect both her and her badger friend.
Annaleen Wiltenholm-There's always something to smile about.
Chani Kalera- Intimidation is the new diplomacy. *looms*
Eleanor "Bloody Elle" Lark - Why is the rum always gone?
Yolanda Brown - If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But unless life also gives you water and sugar, your lemonade is going to suck.
              Astrid Hammerhand - Och!

"What? Karthus? ... A traitor?" Yashia couldn't believe her eyes. Was he truly capable of such despicable acts? Had he done these things when he wasn't in control of himself? Had he... betrayed her trust? A great many questions went through her mind, though one thing was certain: she had to find Karthus before anyone else did. She was one of the few he might listen to, and with whom he would share his side of this story.

Tellesian shakes his head and doesn't seem surprised at all.

"I wonder what the keeper will say, I would hate to have to hunt Karthus down and kill him."

*Elric looks at the poster and smiles*

"So, it seems that Karthus was a double dealer all the time. I had my suspicions, but did not have enough proof to move on them. I will kill him if I find him, there is no doubt about that."

*With that last thought, Elric looks into the eyes of the lovely lass on his lap and laughs long and loud.*

Marrs hears of this news and a sly grin creeps to his face. Now there is the Karthus I once knew, he says quietly to himself. A traitor then, and a traitor now. He seems to betray everyone he comes in contact with, perhaps now we can come to an agreement. He thinks to himself a moment before heading off in search of Karthis.

Serena quietly watches the people reading the poster, thinking to herself after some time, "City dwellers, never ones to make up their own mind. Maybe I can learn more if I can find Karthus."

A man cloaked and hooded passes the note, a dead wolf slung over his shoulder with many patched up wounds. As he reads his eyes lower, "I must find him."

Osclow takes a step back to gain a slightly more distanced look at the simple markings he had left upon a particular tree in the Exigo Trading Post. It was doubtful finding the man would be easy now, if possible at all. Still, the bard kept hope that the message would gather the attention of the wanted man. It was better than doing nothing at all. Nodding in approval to his message, he sheaths the small dagger and makes his way north back toward the city.

Upon the tree three simple words are carved: Is it true?
