A statement is shown too the public for the discussion of Samantha the witch, Goverment authorities are wishing too hear peoples opinion's on this matter at hand.


I , Gromlin Onyxlum on the Date Kythorn the 5, 1372. Provide proof of the deed's the Witch known as Samantha, has commited. A shield Born of darkness i turned over too the Barraks of Helm, where it was accepted into evidence of these deeds. Three days ago i captured the illusive Samantha in the forest of Viridale. When i captured her, i confinscated What i found too be a dagger of extremly dark enchantment. Along with this dagger ,i found a sheild, Covered in the skin of elves.
Samantha was caught weeks ago skinning elves within the border of Sundren Exigo, but no proof shown too capture her. This sheild proves her deed's as it is made from the very skin she tore from the backs of the helpless elves she slaughtered and maimed.
Samantha is known too deal with the Dark arts, and was well known too be a assistant too Landaren. I here by Make the accusations of her deed's and that she must be brought too justice, along with the minions she now holds.
For sure a woman half orc, dressed in rag's from what i saw helped her try and escape at viridale when i captured her, Myself and Hano Fetten fought the old hag off, but she was indeed powerful. Her Spear hit with the shock of frost, as it bit the armor and burned the skin. Uknown is her name or were abouts.

The following day, on word from Balthasar that the City Watch seeks his statement as well due to the mention of 'Hano Fetten', Hano sets out to give them just that.

Entering the City Watch he is greeted with brief formalities and a large amount of paperwork... It was not Hano's forte, but he gave his best in writing the following details.

"I, Hano Fetten, Knight and Servant of the Loyal Fury, Torm on the Date Kythorn the 6, 1372. Provide the results of past investigations and statments to the character and deeds of the Necromancer, Samantha.

Samantha.. An infamous Necromancer that has plagued Sundren with her existence for some time now was first met with me when I was given a task from Balthasar, head of the Servants of the Loyal Fury. There had been reports of a Vampire assaulting lone adventurers entering the Viridale Forest and I was given the task to investigate.

The investigation did not take long before I was confronted with the said Vampire - In fact she stood over the corpse of a victim after draining the blood from his body. She was draped in dark robes and wore a mask.. However the most prominant feature of the woman was her rotting flesh. She will dismiss it as a skin disease, but is believed to be done by her own magics due to the constant failures of curing it through various means.

She claimed she needed the victim's blood for her children, who, I now understand to be her undead underlings which she has created and commands. The woman was in fact not a Vampire, but a vile Necromancer using an odd device to drain the blood from her victims. This can be confirmed by the 'single' puncture wound around the neck of the victims. (Note: Vampires would leave two puncture wounds.)
She escaped from my grasp that day by using an odd cantrip of sorts, a cantrip that when described to scholars and mages is called a dimension door. However.. This would not be the last time I encounter the vile witch.

Our second encounter was at a camp fire at the Exigo Trade Post. She had hidden her presence amongst the night and shadow and attempted to attack a fellow traveler. Her efforts had failed as she was overpowered by me and the other adventurers. From her we confiscated a spell book and an emblem as well. The Hands now possess these two objects which is further proof of her vile deeds. The book will reveal her involvement with Necromancy and her emblem will show her close relationships with both the Banites and the Necropolis. I am sorry to inform you that during our escorting her to your prison hold she escaped at the very doorsteps of your prison hold, summoning a Vampire to her side and breaking free into the shadows.

From the time of this happening Balthasar has informed me of her movements throughout Sundren.. I have been following her footsteps in hopes of stopping her evil deeds. One particular incident where I was escorted by a fellow Brother of the Triumvirate to one of the reported sites. There she stood over the corpses of many elves with her vampire alongside her. She proceeded to flay the corpses from their skin, which is now known was in efforts of creating a new spell book. She escaped using similar methods as before.. She seems to be able to take advantage of the shadows as well as any rogue or assassin.

It should also be stated that the recent murder of the child in Sundren's port Aquor is definately her doing. The child bears the single puncture wound that each of her victims has had and is believed to be the ink she used to scribe the spells in her freshly made spell book from the skin of elves - Similar to the shield you have obtained as evidence.

The witch is relentless and cruel. She slaughters many for her own greed and pays no mind to our laws or even common morality amongst man. The Triumvirate understand this as well those that have dealt with her."
