The rain of the valley soaked the wild-elf as she approached the Exigo Trade Post fire in silence..Another was standing near the fire,a man adorned in full armor.She could sense his aura of benevolence,his righteousness,his arrogant stature in beliefs.At once, she knew the man to be a paladin of some sort of benevolent god.She decided to keep her distance from his sickening aura.
"Who are you ..paladin.?"With a look of surprise on his face that the woman knew what he was, he stated his name and title."I am Hano,Hano Fetten,Paladin of Torm.And you are?"Glaring at the man with the intensity of hatred in her eyes for his kind," I am known as Xyrisa Blacktalon of the Zhe...I mean the Chondalwood ."The paladin gave the woman a raised brow of suspicion,obviously sensing her well hidden madness and hatred.."Well met then,Xyrisa."Staring daggers at the man,the elf sarcastically replied.."If you say so! I hear there is much going on here in these lands that trouble many.Tell me paladin,what is it that troubles these lands?"Hano..seemed a little reluctant to speak of such things to the elf woman,but he did so anyways.First he spoke of some great victory at some place known only as, the Necropolis."Well today,a large group of adventurers raided the Necropolis,putting down the evils and masterminds whom reigned over the place."
This is what Xyrisa wanted to hear about.She had heard rumors spoken by Fzoul of Zhentil Keep about some sort of Banite control over these lands..He sent her to investigate,and this seemed like the first bit of information she needed leading to their whereabouts..With interest and intrigue she inquired more about this...so called "raid."So Hano,trying to flash him a kind smile,but to no avail..Who are these adversaries that reigned as master over this...Necropolis?"
He told her in detail of the events of the past months and the Banite control that has been spreading fear throughout the land.He also added to maybe dissuade any evil intentions she might have harbored,about how evil will be put down by the light of the benevolent ones that stand together to fight it,and that no threat will rise with ease as long as the just stands watch...She laughed wickedly at his last statements,amused by his arrogance and confidence..Xyrisa only replied with an arrogance of her own.."For your sake paladin...I hope you are right!!"Laughing madly,she left the man standing there in his own thoughts.
