Peppington Merrifferlis investigates

Peppington stood on the corner of Pennydrabble Lane clutching a torn newspaper article. He stroked his moustache in contemplation before marching off in the opposite direction.

Five minutes later (and realising that he was in the right place first time) Peppington returned to Pennydabble Lane and march up to number 54.

Knocking loudly he muttered "Right Mr. Perrow Tallgood, lets see what you have to say for yourself."

Peppington Hammers on the door of 54 Pennydrabble Lane.

"Mr Tallgood I need to speak with you over the disappearence of a Mr Ken Nebbi, that you witnessed!"

Disappointed that his knocking received no answer, Peppington slowly walks away from the house of Mr Tallgood.

Taking out a bundle of scrolls from a big pocket in his robes, he gives a firm nod. Turning to his long suffering cat Chester he gives a wide grin.

"Chester I have a job for you"

[sparkeh]

A short while a cat can be seen hauling a basket stuffed with scrolls to the Hands of Mundus.

Anyone reading the scrolls would find a detailed recount of many conversations that had taken place in Sundren over recent times. Mostly they consist of gossip and tittle-tattle but any mention of the escaped prisoners is circled in red ink. Also described in detail is the delivery of a box to Exigo Trading Post for Nulinus that turned out to contain a pair of eyes.

If anyone who saw the cat could read feline facial expressions, they could tell he was very annoyed.
