You walk into the dark bar, there are not many patrons this early in the day, sunlight streams in through the cloudy discolored windows.
You see a man in his mid twenties, he's sitting back with a pint chatting up the barmaid.
She asks. "Where are you from" In a mildly interested tone.
He replies in a very enthusiastic manner. "Well my dear actually just outside Aquor, but, I've been away for quite some time. I'm quite happy to be home truthfully."
He finishes his pint and orders two more. Pays and sips his beer in silence.
The barmaid, looking obviously bored with the lack of clientel starts up conversation again. "So whats your name anyway? I've got family in aquor."
He chuckles to himself and then replies. "My name is Vincent Venture." He cocks his head to the side and smiles big.
"Hmm, never heard of any Ventures before" she replies.
He takes a big drink of his beer and looks at the woman. "Well no, its not the family name" he laughs again and finishes his pint before moving onto the second.
"I changed my name, I mean really my name was so bad"
Looking intrigued and a little less bored, the barmaid places her head in her hands leans on the bar and asks. "Well now you have to tell me" her eyes widen.
"Okay well, you know how people quite often take their names from their professions?" she nods.
"Well my great granparents, grandparents and then my parents farmed a mud like clay, often used to pottery and plates and, well whatever. So their name was muckfarmer." he rolls his eyes and gives a large sigh before continuing. "They named me Ronald, come on, Ronald Muckfarmer."
The barmaid proceeds to burst out laughing.
He winks at her, finishes his beer and flicks her a gold piece. He laughs to himself one more time before getting up and walking out.
