The dark spirit known as Devaki descended upon the Exigo Trading Post without warning while leading a small horde of undead. Many travelers who were aware of Devaki's presence came to the trading post in time to fend off her minions. It was said that a wizard by the name of 'Ohdy' banished her back to the Necropolis and re-sealed her bondage due to the aid of an ominous seer from Sestra.
While few were killed and many injured at the trading post, and the resolution seemingly a victorious battle, the seer from Sestra told wanderers that this is just the beginning of dark times... and that a higher power is simply using Devaki as a pawn.
