  • Locke Banesept - The Fallen

((The following is a completely IC depiction of my beloved long-term [past/present] character, Locke Banesept. This depicts, using a unique-to-him dating system [as to not conflict with Sundren's storyline], his plight before and during his trip to Sundren, and his adventured during his stay. All of such is written as I go along, and will, once the past entries catch up to the current game-time, include any in-game occurrences worthwhile.))

Peh. "TE". What ever happened to Faerunic dates? "TE"... it's simple, but I'm used to complexity, dammit. I miss the nice, complex Dwarven calendar, I do. Damn monastery rats telling me how to think. For the record, and for the ease of any would-be traveler or thief who finds this on my corpse somewhere out in whoever-the-hell-knows-where, "TE" stands for "Tyr?nic-Errant Notation", and "Dartagu" is the month of Ice... according to my monastery. The "157" before the TE marks the 157 years of 15 months that the Errant Paladins have been instructed at my Monastery. All different professions of protection have different year-counts, so it's awefully difficult to tell time. I'm an Errant Paladin, so "Tyr?nic-Errant" is the type of date and calendar notation I must follow. Similarly, a General-Study Cleric in the monastery must follow "Tyr?nic-Genaralice", and so-forth. Regardless - despite my plans to leave the monastery, I'll still use my "Tyr?nic-Errant" notation system; just as a testament of what they've forged of me. And also for the sake of anyone who picks this off of my corpse, the name be Locke Banesept; first son of Devaisi Banesept.

I'm Leaving that be-damned monastary! Bah! I was expelled without trial! How in the nine hells was I supposed to know the difference between the Divinations "Hroth-Gelgar" and "Groth-Helgar"?! So I blew a hole in the wall! That's no reason to expell the best Errant in the whole Monastery!
...(Three hours later, after a delicious meal at "The Queens Flagon")...
As of now, I've defected. My deity betrayed me, and I've left him, and focused on the worshiping of Jergal. At least Jergal will lead me to a proper burial. I'm a new man. Sadly, some random Tiefling mugged me outside the pub I had dinner at. Be-damn them all. Be-damn this city. I'm planning my next destination as I write this. I'm thinking of someplace over the ocean. Yes... Far away from all such badness that seems to lurk behind my shoulder at my every move.
