Not the best at writing these but I'll give it a go for background sake.

Originally from the Icewind Dale area, Eugene has lived a life of confrontation. From a young age he grew a tough skin from the harsh environment and constant combat with town bullies. As he aged he developed fast and eventually became the bully himself for a time, but there was always someone bigger and meaner. He learned to shrug of pain, and to use it to further his combat abilities.
His favored weapon is the great axe, though he can use most anything he touches. It is suprising to see considering he is not the strongest of men(15 str). At a young age doing chores around the house he discovered a liking for the weapon, and found it relatively easy to use. As he aged he was able to increase his skill fighting the local pests. He continues to train with it and has developed a deadly swing. Often he can be seen lopping the heads off foe's with relative ease.
Eugene's general attitude is care-free. He is inteligent enough to be able to hold a conversation with most (int 13) but is often noted as saying the first thing that comes to mind, especially if it will provoke a situation. That being said, his sole lifes purpose is combat. The thrill of the fight, the visable battle scars for all to see, the numorous cheatings of death and living to tell, it is all an adrenaline rush for him. His axe is as much a part of him as his name's sake. As of late he has noticed in the heat of battle he will lose all sense of awarness and go on a rampage. Often he snaps out of it to find blood and guts splattered about him. Sometimes he awakens to find himself looking in worse shape then the bodies around him....
Rumors reached Icewind Dale of shadows emerging around the parts of Sundren. Bored of the local combat opportunities, he boarded the first boat he could find and ventured down in hopes of finding a new land to roam.......
