Loki Troublemaker was just your regular everyday halfling, common enough as a child. He ran away from home due to some issues with others not believing his large collection of past events. Statements like "you're only 14, you've never seen a Dragon, you can't even spell Lich, and there is no way a King would ever do anything but swat you with a sword much less anoint and knight you," drove him to seek friends and family else where.
After spending some time as a deck hand on various ?merchant? ships Loki became enamored with the style and grace of select marauding pirates, and the guards taken on board to combat them. Through much cajoling and several promises of free drinks Loki learned how to fight, dress, and more importantly talk his way out of many situations. Unfortunately for every time his mouth has gotten him out of trouble, there's a dozen more that it has gotten him into it. Always one to let you know what he's capable of (at least in his head) and dressed for court, it's amazing one so small could take up so much "space".
After meeting Loki one of his first questions asked is, "Have you seen a short guy named Parn around here? I mean short for you, not me, are you calling me short?" A lopsided grin and a small chuckle affirm that he's playing on the stereotype. Without waiting for a reply Loki says goodbye and wanders off mumbling under his breath, all you can catch is "damn fool....away with my best boots......edic core, stupid, that was my name for it?..bet he doesn't even charge....."
Loki was a PnP character that just seems to stick with me, tiny and entertaining, a happy go lucky kind of guy who enjoys finding ways out of a corner, and tried to look good doing it. No matter what, when he's the one telling the story, he DOES look good doing it.
