I don't even think drow are born evil or any of the other evil races (other then things like demon/devils) Drow are the way they are because of their society.

Take a drow baby far away from their underdark home and raise it as a human or an elf or something and have it accepted as one of them and I doubt it would be like a drow from the underdark. Yes I know it is almost impossible for such an example to happen but it was simply an example. Like drow, tieflings are often evil from how society they were raised in treated them.

As I said before though you have your opinion on the matter I have mine, no my characters won't automatically trust a warlock, and have an even harder time with a drow for that matter, but they have no experience with warlocks to show that they are evil. All they ever seen them do is blast evil creatures. Might as well label a sorcerer and RDD evil since their powers are often from evil dragons.

And no I'm not defending warlocks because I play them, tried one before and really didn't like it. Just don't like the narrow minded view everyone has on them, seems many believe they must be evil no matter what.

Eh, not "no matter what", but I just believe that a good Warlock had better have one damn good reason. (Hence me advocating for Warlocks to be apply only)

Example of a warlock that could be good: Sun Elves from Cormanthor, many if not all of them are descendant of the sun elves who mated with demons for power and made Fey'ri basically the elven version of a tiefling.

Now these elves that weren't part of any of that stuff have done nothing wrong but the tainted blood from their ancestors likely resulted in a higher rate of warlocks being a common thing than in other places which would likely make them more accepted in that society than in other places, being accepted and being shunned can often have a pretty strong impact on alignments.

Your power always corrupts philosophy seems to exclude wizards, sorcerers, clerics and such when they have large amounts of power, but as said before this has been discussed a lot and everyone will have their own opinion on it, I doubt I'll change your opinion and nothing you have said has changed mine so lets just end it and agree to disagree.

Im not sure why this is being argued about. Stated by the dms there is NO good warlocks here. They get their powers from devils and demons, thats it, its not a debate on what other texts say, this was the ruleing for this world.
Sacrifice everything as the final darkness falls... in the end, all that awaits you is death. Only then will you understand - you've been following in my footsteps all along.
So come then, you heroes! Come in all your power and glory! For in the final hour, all must serve the one... true... king.

No, the DMs said a good warlock would be very rare. And anyways, think about it. Warlocks are known for fiendish magic. NOBODY is going to pet you on the head. They'll chase the hell out of you wherever you go. And, getting powers from Fey is only rewarded to those who do great deeds for them. So, you'd already be around 10 levels in somethingelse before getting warlock lvls..

Got to admire the direct approuch there, Lallendos.

Hopefully this will get through and the Warlock can become something that is not so common place. Least then perhaps coping with a 'good' warlock should one turn up would be an interesting roleplaying opportunity, if most haven't already dealt with warlocks already that is.
