Tyler Penleigh : The dark, winding tunnels are the place Tyler works his hardest and is at his most wary - the powerful creature could dash them against the walls of the caves and crush them with painful ease.
Tyler Penleigh : Use Rope Check: Base 10 + Roll: 5 = 15
Chime holds onto the ropes binding her in place and shivers a little as they slide through the dark caves.
Tyler Penleigh : However, his ability to direct the subterranean creature is limited by his human eyes, the cramped space, and the waning strength of his limbs. He squints against the darkness, sometimes causing them to grind into a wall,or smash through stalagmites and stalactites.
Tyler Penleigh : Only by virtue of Chime's continued control would it be possible for this feat to continue, as the massive beast would have crushed them all horribly with even the slightest outbursts.
Chime: Concentration Check: Base 25 + Roll: 1 = 26
Tyler Penleigh : As they surge out of the final cave, Tyler lets out a sharp gasp - tasting the cool, clean air of the surface world once more. He leans heavily to his left side, his right arm having been nearly shattered by one of the near-misses in the winding passages.
Tyler Penleigh : Use Rope Check: Base 10 + Roll: 2 = 12
Chime groans a little as the wind touches her face. One hand flattens on the worms back as she works at keeping full sensory input with the worm as t
hey move out of the caves.
Tyler Penleigh : The worm starts to veer off-course, tilting in the direction that the Red Blade is leaning. He pants heavily, trying to right their course before taking them too far out of the way.
[Weather: Snow begins to gently fall]
[Weather: A thick fog blankets the area]
Tyler Penleigh : "We're nearing the narrow pass into the Gate, Chime. The patrols will almost certainly attack the worm. But we should be close enough to the portal to transport the meat within a day or two's time."
Chime: She nods a little and lays her head back down on the worm, clearly exausted
Chime: " I will keep it here until everyone is in position." <i> Her voice distraced and distant, clearly still linked to the worm
Tyler Penleigh : "No, Chime. I'll need you on the ground with the men, using your spells to assist them. Get them ready, and I'll cut the ropes when the attackbegins. Use one of your doors. Now, go!"
[Weather: The fog begins to clear]
It is moderately raining here.
[Weather: It begins to rain]
Chime: <i> She sighs tiredly but nods and murmurs after untying herself from the worm
Chime: <i> Once on the ground she stumbles to her knees, clearly sore from the unaccustom riding
Tyler Penleigh : Tyler gives one more pained shout, tugging hard on the ropes that bind the worm. He jerks it toward the nearest cliff-face, attempting to force it to dash itself against the rocks one last, good time before the men and women of the 7th arrive on the scene.
Tyler Penleigh : Dexterity Check: Base 8 + Roll: 7 = 15

( I crashed shortly after entering the caves, and my client extender doesn't save chatlogs because my guy is a remake, for whatever reason. Wish I had gotten the full screen caps for everyone to see and read, but here's what happened mid-cave and post. )

( I'm not sure if Baeleth was Duncan or Gurney to my Tyler Muad'dib. You be the judge. On topic: we're hoping a DM will rule if this is official, or not, and how much of the worm's 40,000lbs of meat can be converted into edible foodstuffs for the starving people it was meant for. )
