To the Keeper of the Druid's Glade

Maia delivers a sealed scroll to the Keeper of the Druid's glade, begging him to consider its content once he is at leisure and spread the words to allies (such as the Rangers in the Outpost above).

To Fellowship of the wood, protector of the wilder lands.

Dark times are upon us. Shadows walk in the Viridale, serving their dread Mistress, the Lady of Loss "Shesara". Shesara's efforts are devoted to strengthening the Mossclaw alliance with powerful magic for their shamans to use.

The Dark advent spread from its stronghold, spreading death and undeath out of their dark crypt. They harvest bodies of friends and foes alike, make twisted experiments in their dark abodes and possibly seek to reach the other sleeping undead entity in the forest; Colibrus.

As if that was not enough, cultist from Gargauth's faith, warlocks and worshippers of dark beings from the outer planes seem to be active and strong in the Sundered Valley. Though this is not a problem for the wilds alone... their influence is spreading and they often resort to places away from civilization - like the Viridale - to do their dark rituals and work their foul contracts.

Something must be done! We cannot simply sit passively as these threats assemble and threaten what we hold dear! If those whom stand for life, freedom and goodness can assemble and pool their efforts... we would stand a better chance to fighting them, together!

(( Funny you should bring this up.

I'm currently in brainstorm mode now that I am responsible for elves, druids and rangers. Basically I want to get these factions involved and organised in some fashion that works with the current factions and NPCs, including the elven council, with a view to some events and world development based around them.

PM me your current thoughts on the state of the council and its future and I'll see about arranging a meeting IC/OOC (as needed and appropriate). I do want to get the ball rolling on this but I've been bogged down with other stuff as of late.

Breathing heavily, Andal rushes into the sacred glade, having just arrived from the Viridale Forest Border. From what little intelligence he could gather at the time, he had discovered that zombie forces had launched an attack upon the forest - surely the work of the Dark Advent. Worried for the Glade's safety he had rushed there immediately, without another thought.

Seeing the enclave unharmed, Andal let out a sigh of relief. He approached the Keeper determined and steadfast.

"My master, the Dark Advent has grown powerful and bold. They have staged an attack upon the borders of the Viridale; we can not allow this desecration of sacred ground!

They threaten the corruption of all that is natural here. In the name of the Treefather Silvanus, we must intervene!

I await your wisdom and command. May the Treefather watch and guide us..."

\\ OOC: I know you're on it already Darkwood/Ash, I just wanted to make sure that the Keeper didn't think his own druids were a bunch of incompetent nincompoops. :X
