Maia uses her animal messenger spell, like twice before, to have her come into contact with the Wild Elf Dalkyn Marwyl. The message points to another, more expansive message to be retrieved from the Druid Glade.
Greetings Dalkyn. I hope this note finds you in good health. I fear, however, that I only bring dark tidings.
As you must have had noticed, dark shadows are being released on the Viridale, courtesy of the Lady of Loss, Shesara... a powerful priestess whom is supporting the Mossclaw alliance with powerful magical scrolls.
On the other hand, the Dark Advent in encroaching in the greener lands beyond the necropolis, harvesting bodies and bringing their dark experiments out and befouling nature where they touch it.
And to add to that, demons and devils have also surfaced, dark cults whom have their influence spreading - often these individuals come and hide in the Viridale to practice their dark craft, leaving death and corruption in their wake.
I try to struggle and stop those. Other likeminded elves struggle for the same... but it ever seems like I take one step forward and two steps back. I am tired of being used for target practice and having struggles trivialized simply because we cannot compare.
We need help! These events must stop - I fear the corruption will spreads to the bones of the forest and that eventually it will reach you too as well... so, in a way this fight could very well be yours as well.
I beseech you, Dalkyn... can you appeal to your people, to the fey, to help? I realize this favor goes much beyond everything I've done for the Nightleaves, despite my good intentions... but we really need assistance now.
