River strode through the lush grass, surveying the set up and preparations. Night noises surrounded her, leaving her otherwise in solitude. Upon the ridge line, Vlad's guards kept watch, and their softly murmured voices drifted down into the valley below. Things were as ready as they could be- the pavilions were set up, tables, chairs- all waiting for the morrow. The hectic rush before hand had finally come to an end.
