The Mysterious Contraption

Valen, finally catching up to Drake Sellent, huffs and puffs with what looks like a large pile of rubble wrapped up in his cloak. He then proceeds to unceremoniously dump the already-broken contents right in front of the Legionnaire and tells him, "It said your name. Very colorfully, I might add."

The remnants of whatever contraption it were apparently were thrown in a fire, though the metallic parts are not singed. A large box and mechanical legs are among the visible remains. The energy source is other-worldly and the engineering behind the device - even when ruined - seem to be spectacularly advanced.

Drake looks upon the pile of rubble, taking a few moments. He then suddenly frowns, with sad voice he kneels down. "Billy..." He takes up a part, looking it over... He gathers it up in a pack, and slings it on his back. "Thank you Valen, hopefully James can fix this... Did you see who committed this atrocity?" Looking to Valen rather seriously.

Ario does note, however, that the elf fails to mention the contraption fired bolts of lightning at the nearby resting adventurers, almost frying one poor soul to a crisp.~
