  • Alexander's Journal- A nearly fatal occurance

Today I was in the Necropolis, looking for Miss Isiovien- I heard she frequented the area earlier from another drow who I encountered. Without much thought I sat hiding in the bushes- I watched Kai's little group head off into the bowels of the tower; and resigned myself to waiting. The air was cold and dead- it was comforting really. Death is rather tangible in a place like that, it was nice... but within an hour of waiting for the drow- I was bored.

That was until a Pointy Ears came running in- past the great gothic gates and headlong into the midst of three zombies. I nearly pissed myself joy. Standing slowly, I streched and pulled my great claymore from my back. I stalked past the gate and slammed it shut, then I came out of hiding and watched the event unfold.

This rogue was fighting off three rather hungry undead, he lacked a holy weapons or water, and was drinking a potion every few attacks. I guess he had never fought the undead in such a place before. To bad for him I figured. He realized he was loosing- I could see the fear and agony dance across his features. And unsurprisingly he ran towards me begging for aid.

I laughed and shoved him back at the undead. He looked shocked as I began to talk to him how the zombies would tear apart his flesh. I think I almost saw him cry. After another few moments- I figured he ran out of potions and also thought he was going to run soon. I didn't want that- my fun would end. So I informed him that if he ran I would run him through with my sword. It was glorious.

He knocked the undead back, and would've one twice over if he had simply had the weapon... but he didn't. He made a break for it, bleeding all over the place. I was about to cut him down- but he outran me... I was depressed. And so I threw down a vial of holy water- killing all three undead with a single blast of fumes, grabbed what I could from their bodies and went back to waiting for Miss Isiovien.

It's a shame, but I'm hoping that more stupid people will come to try themselves agaist the Necropolis- and I will watch each fail! Hehe... my brother would be proud!

Well with these foolish wretches realize that they have no chance against the might of the undead... they should just give up and submit themselves as vassals now... but that is a rant for another time
