After utilizing a technique all but forgotten among the Shadowdancers to fake his own death, the scoundrel Cazen had finally worked up the courage to leave the Valley of Sundren. He returned to the city of Neverwinter where he meant to make a name for himself among the Shadow Thieves, but instead gave up his life of crime, forswore his bonds to the shadows, and took a job as a barkeep at a tavern near the cascading falls of the Neverwinter River. Cazen never again sought any serious romance, and died peacefully in his sleep some twenty years after leaving Sundren.

The Gurani known as Thrice-Cursed Ruslan was last seen leaping from the edge of Sundren City while it still remained in the sky, though some say he was thrown from the edge by a shadowy figure. His whereabouts remain unknown.

The sun elf Lasvi of Cormanthor's ill-reputed House Norreitryn was caught and charged with the abduction and murder of law abiding citizens under the protection of Silverymoon. She was held without bond in the city's west garrison for little over a tenday, and she received no visitors during this time. On the morning of her scheduled execution, she was found dead by exsanguination, which is believed to have been self-inflicted.

Her cremated remains were purportedly scattered away by a sudden breeze during their attempted burial.

Jeb had seen the corruption continued to spread in the Viradale, and try as he and the other follows of Silvanus might, there were no sign of stopping. Dark forces were at work here, but without the guidance of his teacher Adama, and with the disappearance of his friend Nora, he was at a lost for what to do. He decided to leave the valley in search of other followers of the Oak Father that maybe could give him guidance on what course of action he could take.

He wandered out of the valley as he wandered in, and was never seen from again.

He offers his weapon, Bane Slayer (the sword forged from a piece of the weapon that killed Bane in the Time of Troubles) to the Temple as an artifact of power to do as they see fit.
