*Sitting cross-legged in the shifting shadows of a tree overlooking the Gate of the Sunderer, the wisp of a childfaced Strongheart Halfling writes with an elegant, flowing script and an expression and joyous calm. The Tome he writes into sits across his knees - darkly bound and huge - it's a wonder he can heft it... who knows where he puts it when on the move.*
... So this is Sundren. What an interesting reception! Barely had I managed to take in the wonder that is this "Gate of the Sunderer" when this fellow - mighty curious for a tall-folk - Hendrick fair stepped on me in his eagerness to find out all about who I was, where I was from and what I was doing here!
Can you imagine?! Such interest in little old me. Well of course I told him everything he wanted to know - it just seemed as though he would be SO disappointed if he didn't get to know all those things about me! So now he well knows of Syrenity, hailing from Rauvinsford of the River Rauvin. Anything to declare? Why yes there is! This gate is simply astounding!!! I simply MUST find out more about its creation! Why he rolled his eyes and started muttering, waving me on so suddenly I don't quite know - quite a strange chap with to be sure.
And already offers of work! Necromancers, undead, crypts, rings of old - how it all sounds so exciting! Perhaps I should head into town proper and see if there any any folk interested in taking a look at these places. So many things to see...
