  • Iara's Dysphoria to a Queen

Soft steps of sweet Sseren followed the priestess of Lolth. Her soft hand wrapping Iara's left arm humming a warm tune in the dark caverns below the surface world. The caverns, they are known as the dangerous Underdark. She loved Iara with all her heart but she did not fully know what love meant. Her love influenced by the Dark Maiden flowed through her veins like sweet, soothing music from a travelling bard's lute. Sseren knew Iara worshiped Lolth but she did not care, her heart was set on her. Iara'Tal'Micar, a first daughter of the mighty House Olis'Inth'Vargh did not know of Sseren's faith. Sseren was one of the few in the world who has seen Iara's soft side, a side that Iara dare not use openly amongst her house.

" Where are we going my Mistress?" , Sseren said with a curious tone.

" We are almost there, just around this corner." , Iara replies as she looks towards her precious dancer's direction.
Iara's head then returned forward after Sseren gave a brief nod.

Iara was leading Sseren to a place where she would travel to be alone and meditate. Sseren never been there before and was anxious to see this place. She walked closer to Iara in step and looked up to her with a soft smile, her eyes adored Iara's features, her beauty and grace. Iara didn't look back to her as she smiled, she simply kept her ruby eyes forward with a slight smile of intrepidity.
Soon enough they arrived at the destination that was intended. This paticular subterrane was smaller than most caverns. From the entrance of the cavern was a narrow path to the right that opened up to an area that was surprisingly covered in smooth rock. Past the smooth rock ended to an abrupt edge.

Iara's eyes scoured the place with caution a moment then her leering eyes turned to Sseren and spoke softly to her , "Come."

The path to the smooth rock was barely wide enough for the two to travel side by side.
"This ground." Sseren's eyes examining the sleek floor, she kneels down and rubs her hand gently upon it. She then looks up to Iara with inquisition in her soft eyes.

" Once water poured through this cavern. A shift in the rock must of caused the water to stop. " Iara claims with a gesture from her hand, extending it to water dripping from the top of the cavern, but falling just over the edge of the cliff side.

Sseren's curiousity moves her to the edge , near the continious dripping and her eyes look over the cliff. "It is a far way down. There is no sound of the water's end."

" Like your desire for me my sweet tune.. It has no end." Iara says as she walks up close to Sseren with fervor in her ruby, red eyes.

Sseren turns around with a light gasp as she is suddenly held softly near the edge of the sleek rock. Iara's hands gently rubbing each side of Sseren's arms and moans slightly to her.

" I wish to tell you something Mistress that you will soon find out as time passes." Sseren speaks as her eyes look up to Iara.

Iara did not reply to Sseren's words but only tilted her head slighty with question.

" I, like SiNafay follow Eilistraee. Lolth hates her and I know you follow Lolth but..." with a quick silence by Iara's finger to Sseren's lips she shakes her head and breaths softly to her... "No."

    "No?" Sseren replies confused.

A moment of silence came over the two as they stared at each other. Iara's ruby eyes looked down a brief second then slowly returns to Sseren.

" I do not deserve you.. You deserve better than I." Iara said with meekness as her eyes begin to moisten.

"No! I will follow you wherever you go! I do not deserve you mistress, you cannot say that. You are Yathrin, first daughter of House Olis'Inth'Vargh!" Sseren argues with slight fluster in her tone.

Iara's eyes continued to fill with tears as she stared into Sseren. Iara did her best to hold back her tears for she felt they are weak and against her very nature as a priestess of Lolth.

" I would rather die then not be by my Mistress. " Sseren spoke softly , pleading to Iara as her hands moved just above the priestess' bosom.

Iara couldn't say no more. She heard all she could. Someone with these feelings were overwhelming to Iara. Iara knew that many drow should die for her. She is indeed a Yathrin, first Daughter. Iara'Tal'Micar was sacred to the house of Olis'Inth'Vargh and is worthy to die for. Iara did not feel this way with Sseren. Her feelings opposed the typical nature that ran through her veins. She did not know why but she must end it.

After hearing Sserens words Iara said to her, "So be it." Iara's moist eyes close and she leans into Sseren with her lips, she joins as one with the drow dancer of Eilistraee.

As they kissed for a moment Iara took Sserens hands and held them a moment. They were lost in that kiss for awhile. There was no other feeling but the numbness of such an affection.

Sseren's hands then moved up to Iara's neck but felt something warm upon them. Profuse liquid came from her wrists , flowing gently onto Iara. She seperated her lips from Iara a moment to see the crimson blood covering her hands and Iara's neck.

"Mistress?" Sseren inquired as narcosis began to rule her.

Iara's tearfilled eyes stared at a moment and spoke her last words to her, " May you find someone worthy of your..your love."

Iara again leaned forward with passion and desire kissing her last kiss with Sseren. Sseren held as tightly as she could to Iara as they embraced. Soon Iara let go of Sseren gently. Sseren continued to try and hold tightly but could not. Her mind was fading, only the kiss of Iara's lips was left in her mind and soul. It was all Sseren could rely on to keep her alive. Iara continued to lean into Sseren but slowly their lips seperated as Sseren fell back. Her wrists and hands covered in her own blood moved outward as she fell over the sleek edge of the chasm
Iara turned around quickly to only hear the deathly moan, lavish from the depths of her once, precious ilthiiri of Eilistraee.

She fell to her knees and began to sob.

" I do this for you My Queen. I do this for your favor! I beg you.. do not have me do this again. Anything but this!" She looks up to see her pet spider hanging from a stalactite surrounded in a violet hue of faerie fire. Luscious lips appear with a slight smile upon them.

Iara then fell to the floor as she cried ontop of crimson blood. She feared it was her last day as a priestess of Lolth and only prayed she would be at the mercy of a merciless Goddess such as Lolth...

    Iara was going mad...

OOC: Im sorry if this depresses anyone. GBX's Sseren he wasn't going to play anymore and I liked her alot but I felt that I should at least give her an ending that perhaps wasn't too ruthless but fitting.

I took a little time in writing this.. its not best seller material but I did my best for the amount of time I had. This one is for you man.

Once an Ilthiiri, always an Ilthiiri

Once An Illthiiri, Always An Ilthiiri

"The Matron! She is coming!" , the scout breathed out as he slumped his shoulders in exhaustion.

As the words rang throughout the encampment, the drow began to compose themselves quickly. Tension was high as the priestess Iara'Tal'Micar cast her ruby eyes through the cell bars from a distance to see a figure she knew quite well. SiNafay, the Eilistraeean dancer ,stood there with a bloody scar across her chest and multifarious wounds all over her slender body. Iara was in a situation that compromised her status as the first daughter of House Olis'Inth'Vargh. Like Sseren, Iara's eyes could not resist the lust for flesh upon these dancers of the Dark Maiden. The way they moved, teasing every sensation of Iara, both mentally and physically. She had other affections for this dancer as well. Affections that are not of the Spider Queen.

Thoughts began to move briskly through her mind. She knew when her Mother, the Matron of House Olis'Inth'Vargh, stepped through that doorway, Iara's judgement would begin. Iara's loyalty was strong with her Mother. She did not wish to fail her in any way possible.

As expected, the Matron stepped through the doorway leading to the encampment with elite guards surrounding her flanks. Her supercilious eyes gathered everything around her without movement. Iara did not hesitate and walked forward to her kneeling before the presence of a Matron who was to be feared. Iara's eyes manifested awe struck reverence as she looked to the ground.

" It seems I had to come here anyways due to Jaggath's inability to fulfill my orders." , the Matron said with a haughty tone.

" Mother, forgive me. The message that was sent to you passed me by. I did not have the chance to intercept it. I wish you did not have to be burdened with this." , Iara's tone was humble and meek. The Matron could sense it well for it was her daughter and she knew her child all too well.

"We shall see if you are truly sorry my daughter."

Usually Iara's mother would place a hand ontop of her head to show a sign of favor and affection, but this did not happen. Iara knew it was going to be a long and dreadful visit. She lifted herself from the dusty, dried blood laden ground and stood silent. Her ruby eyes were staid and focused to the ground. She gave no emotion. It was the only way she could keep herself from showing weakness.

As other drow males kept to their respected kneeled positions, the Matron gazed past the bars to see the blade dancer , SiNafay , almost naked in the dark confines of the cell.

"Is this not the same traitor I saw on the surface with you? The one who died for you?" , the Matron asked Iara.

Iara nodded slowly, her ruby eyes still set on the ground, "Xas."

" Why does this traitor of the drow wish to die for you?"

Iara said nothing . She wondered why herself. Iara knew that SiNafay wanted her to join with her sisters to be with the Dark Maiden but Iara could not. Iara did not want to live away from this comfortable throne she sits upon. She wanted both worlds. She wanted SiNafay the dancer of the Dark Maiden to be by herside. She wanted Lolth's favor and the favor of her Mother.

The drow camp looked upon her as she stood with an emotionless expresson upon her face.

" She is a traitor my daughter. She must die, it is Lolth's will!" , the Matron's voice pierced Iara's being but Iara did not show it.

" I will miss her pleasuring me. So be it." , is all Iara could answer back. Iara meant to say more but she knew it would hinder her more. Iara could not forsake Lolth or her Mother. If she had to kill SiNafay then she would for the sake of favor and blessings.

" Lies, deceit!" , the matron said with a loud tone.

" Affections, this is what my first daughter has come too? Affections? This is what my House will become when my daughter is Matron? " , the Matron's face showed contempt towards Iara and she slowly turned to SiNafay.

" Traitor, corrupter of my daughter, why do you fight against us ? You should be fighting with your blood. Why do you aid the surfacers?"

SiNafay's eyes were also down to the ground. Biting her bottom lip untill traces of blood were seen, trickling down her chin she finall answered, " There is nothing up there for me. The Dark Maiden has left me here to die in the hands of Lolth."

" Then you have a choice. Die by my daughter's blade, or embrace Lolth as your Queen and be welcomed once again by your kin." , the Matron's eyes did not move from SiNafay.

Iara couldn't believe what she was hearing from SiNafay. SiNafay saying that the goddess she dances for has forsaken her. The thought of actually having SiNafay by herside and still remain first daughter of House Olis'Inth'Vargh was coming to fruition. A reality that only once was a dream.

" If I am ilthiiri, then I might as well start acting like one." , SiNafay replied calmly

A few of the drow males began to cackle slightly but were easily silenced by the Matron's glare.

" Then you will now serve Lolth and me under House Olis'Inth'Vargh?" , the Matron's question was more half demanding as she continued her persuasive gaze.

      "Xas."
As SiNafay spoke , a dark widow spider awaiting for her next meal began to violently convulse. From inside of the giant arachnid a smaller widow tore through the very shell of the larger one . It stood a moment and chittered, then walked by Iara and the Matron, inbetween the cell's bars to SiNafay. The creature then crawled onto SiNafay's back. This sign showed Lolth's favor to SiNafay. SiNafay was now apart of Lolth's minions once again.

"Our Queen has spoken. From now on she will be welcomed into this camp. Release her from the cell." , the Matron ordered as she turned to Iara.

Iara kneeled to the floor in utter shock and amazement. She was still in disbelief to what has transpired.

" My daughter. It seems you have made the right choice in embracing this one. I have misjudged you." , the Matron admitted.

" Mother, it is your right for this discernment. You do it for the benefit of our House." , Iara spoke with her head lowered to only see her mother's boots.

"You will become a great Matron someday." , Iara's mother complimented.

" When Lolth wills it Mother, no sooner , no later." , Iara replied

" You grow wiser even now my daughter "
