Pylia is a Wood Elf who lived in a (nondescript) Woods near the city of Neverwinter. Growing up she had always had a lust for excitement and adventure. And a sense of curiosity that was frowned upon by her kinsfolk. This caused a lot of her peers to shun her somewhat and not include her in activities. She was the constant target of pranks and tricks from the other younger elves. As a result she tended to keep to herself. She did however gain valuable skills that now enable her to survive the wilds and get out of (and sometimes into) spots of bother. When she was old enough she decided to collect her belongings and make for the city. It was here she boarded a ship, not really knowing where it was going. Eventually her adventure took her to just outside the city of Sundren, which is where this tale begins.

Upon entering the city, Pylia wandered about in amazement at all these unfamiliar sights and sounds which a city brings. She also set about finding small tasks to do for people in order to earn herself a living where she could.
It was wandering though the city and into a large temple of some kind that Pylia accidentally runs into Faucon and Presea. Despite the initial embarrasment of the situation of their meeting, Pylia talks to them for a while asking all sorts of questions about the purpose of a Temple and what its inhabitants do. While talking to Faucon, he came up with an absurd idea that the goddess Leira was dead. Pylia however brushed such a silly notion off. After the generous meal which was provided for her Faucon and Presea had to retire to their chambers for some much needed rest. Pylia agreed to deliver some of the food to the children's orphanage in the port of Avanthyr. New to the region, Pylia managed to take a wrong turn and found herself at the 'Second Wind' tavern. Thankfully a kindly dwarf (Angus) was generous enough to escort her there safely and she was able to complete her task.

A few days later Pylia has been tasked with a couple of jobs in the Legion Crypts near the Valley Road. While she is trying to make her way there she comes across an interesting priest named Ulriel. The man decides to aid Pylia in her task. They are also joined by soldier named Miya. The three of them set about clearing the crypts of undead soldiers and recovering some relics for a museum. Whilst in the crypts the trio aid a Sundren Mercenary who's partner has gotten into trouble insie the crypts. It is while in the crypts Pylia encounters the most incredible thing she has ever seen. During the heat of combat with undead the priest Ulriel calls out some sort of chant. Immediately all the undead surrounding them just crumble into piles of dust. Never before has she seen something like this. Truly this is a remarkable individual...

After a couple of days reflecting in the ranger camp, Pylia returns to Sundren. She stops by the temple to let Faucon and Presea know that she had, as promised, delivered the food to the children in Port Avanthyr. They ask her to venture into the sewers to monitor the lizarmen population there. She agrees to do this while the other two remain in the temple praying a blessing over here. She also collects a bounty for the City Watch whilst she is down there. Soon after, having taken her leave of the two, she ventures to The Second Wind inn, looking for volunteers to help her in Viridale Forest collecting the rubbings for the Temple of Oghma. Outside the inn, while talking to a woman, she meets a most perculiar halfling. He has all kinds of magical abilities including being able to shoot lightning from his hands and, worryingly so, the ability to turn dust in skeletons. Not being able to find anyone to aid her in her quest she then ventures into Sharahan Woods to spend time bonding with Morach. Whilst there she encounters a trio including what she assumes to be an orc. Only knowing what she knows from stories, Pylia decides to keep her distance from the group and moves away to a quieter area of the forest rather than try deal with the situation.
