((Not really a journal, not at all. Characters illiterate. But I did do a few things I want to be seen.))
Garklosh of the Treefist Clan wondered into a Ruin he has already become familiar with. After returning here several times, each time with a different weapon, he was having trouble killing those damn Ghosts. Finally after some saving, he was about to get one of his Axes tempered into a minor magical weapon. Ready to go in and bust some incorporeal heads, He charges with his axe held high. Once arriving though he came across a pretty gruesome scene, Two dead bodies of obvious Adventurer types lay at the doorway. Disliking the fact that bad beings did bad things to these two, Garklosh charged in, killed the first couple of Ghosts and a Finger Wiggler he saw, and immediately ran out grabbing the two bodies, heaving them over his shoulders, and took off for Sundren City.
However, On his way to the city, he saw smoke in the air and Lights ahead. Turning the bend he came across one of the Rural Farmlands on fire, and looking farther he saw a Band of annoyingly Bad Orcs raiding the farm. Garklosh, a Man who hates it when other Orcs dont act reasonable, immediately ran to the nearby Inn a bit down the road.
There he met a Halfling and a Human woman, and after pleading his case of the Warband orcs, the woman seem disinterested and just went into the Inn. Though talking with the halfling for a bit, they agreed to go see what they can do. Garklosh just left the two bodies he found by the road, hoping nothing trys to eat them.
After getting back to the farm, Counting the orcs, and weighing the Possibilities, Garklosh took up his Axe and charged in. Sad to say though, the Entire Party of Engaging Orcs were to much of a match for him, quickly knocking him down and taking off for the Small Halfling watching from the Road. Black out happened and he had no idea of the next few minutes.
After he woke up, the Raiders became instantly aware of him not being dead and all, and charged at him. Garklosh, though a man of Fury and Battle, knew immediately this wasn't a fight to be won. So he quickly dashed passed the Orcs, Hopped over the fence, Grabbed the Halflings body, and took off.
A bit down the road he then snatched up the other two bodies and carried them on. Sometime between the Trading Camp and the actual city itself the Halflings body just vanished with some mystical energies, Confused the hell out of Garklosh that is for sure. He did press on though, carrying them into the city, telling the Guards they needed to be taken to the Temple immediately, and to warn them about the Raiders he met on the farmland.
Thus he dropped the Bodies off at the Temple of Helm, Unable and unwilling to pay for their Resurrection, he just asked that they be at least granted Funeral rights if their souls are not returned.
Poof! And thus ends this tale of Garklosh the Treefist.
