Lightning cracks in the distance, crashing onto the highest hilltop. There, among the whipping winds with his horned helm held to the heavens is Qasim al-Bhaelros.
?He has crossed the path of the storm, O? Lord!? Qasim screams to the sky. At his knees is a bound ogre, struggling so, near death. Scattered around the hilltop are several other ogres, the charred dead, the bludgeoned. ?And now he must be offered to you!?
His head bows, his weapons are cast aside, and clasping his hands together Qasim prays to Talos. He boasts of a thousand pains inflicted, unions ripped asunder, creations destroyed. As the Calimshite Cleric finishes his prayer, he opens his palms and reaches towards the sky; a maniacal cackle rising over the wind.
The ogres eyes widen as the clouds open once more: A white flash, his skull split in twain by the crackle of electricity, the ogre is no more. Qasim is slung back against a large bolder from the shock. Not even his heavy armor can cushion the concussion: His breath is taken away.
Some moments later he groans to his feet, the scene of destruction still stretched across the hill. Qasim al-Bhaelros gathers his gear and departs.
