A Distraught Encounter In Sarahan Hills.

From the shroud of invisibility, Claudius watched with sadistic glee as his newfound prey - a tough, sturdy looking Dwarf - draw arms against a horde of goblin annoyances in the hills of Sarahan. The Dwarf fought valiantly, but from his vantage point, Claudius could see that the slobbering, putrid beasts would soon bring their steel to his throat.

Hurriedly, Claudius dipped his fingers into his material component bag to pull out two rather disgustingly smelling substances. Mixing them together in the palms of his hands and with a magical incantation, the infrared heat of the fireball could preemptively be felt in Claudius' hand.



Here's to hoping the prey wouldn't be burnt to a crisp.



The scorchingly hot ball of energy flew from his hands like a shot from a cannon. Instantly, the facade of invisibility faded away.

The ball of fire soared unerringly to a position roughly centered on the Dwarf and his foes. It exploded, showering the area of effect in a heated shock wave, instantly killing all targets it came into contact with.


"My little pet, do not fear," Claudius chuckled to himself as he approached the scorched mass of carrion.


"For in death, you shall serve a greater purpose.."
