Bringing cold darksteel to the chest and head of every gnoll, goblin, and ogre in sight, Kaariq's axe cleaved through the fauna of the forest like a hot knife through butter. His screams of bloodlust echoed throughout the forest; a truly horrific warning to those who would attack him.
The grounds on the outskirts of Mossclaw Meet were decorated by the entrails and remains of slain enemies - partially due to Kaariq, but there had been a previous invader in the forest before him. After defeating a small group huddled over what looked to be carrion, Kaariq made his way closer to investigate the previous 'meal'.
A half-smile came from the left corner of his mouth, though barely. What lie before him was none other than a man he met days earlier; a somewhat cocky character in Kaariq's mind. Looking to the accompanying female corpse, he thought to himself if she was the person with him when they were encountered.. (Jarl Sten & Elizabeth du Ver)
Kaariq's axe in hand, still dripping with blood and entrails, was raised to the sky for a moment. A small beam of light through the trees shone down, casting a gleaming shine on the giant darksteel weapon. The shining ebony axe came down swiftly, severing the man's head from the rest of his corpse, rolling downwards into the valley of Mossclaw Meet.
Kaariq watched with delight before moving on. He grunted to himself as the head disappeared from sight, only one thought on his mind..
"Hmph."
