Dear Exarch Jarius Malifar,
I hope this letter finds you well and I hope you will read it for yourself and pass it along to the Stewards of Sundren if not the High Counsil of Sundren itself.
I regret to inform you that I am bringing formal legal charges against a Hand of Mundus by the name of James Arrow for the unlawful attack on my person as well as wreckless endangerment of the public at large for which there were many witnesses.
Though I was so badly burned and battered in the incident I do not remember what had happened... I have been informed by two separate eye witnesses who recount the exact same story. Their names will be released upon the event of a formal summons to court of said James Arrow of the Hands.
I was harassed and interogated for no other reason that wearing the garb of my God, Lord, and Master -- Myrkul, for which the worship of or bearing symbols in his name are NO crime in any legal tome of Sundren that I can find. When James had threatened me with being taken into custody, he made no reference to any law that I had broken nor refered to himself as any sort of Law Enforcement official representing Sundren. He was accusing me as being the cause of some infraction that was going on at the Second Wind last week... even though I arrived at the scene after this scuffle had started. He even went so far as to accuse me of raising the dead from the very earth.... preposterous!
Out of fear for my safety, I turned and ran and was subsequently brought down to within an inch of my life by extremely potent and overbearing magics for which there was NO warning nor defense for. My body was searched and nothing more incrimanating that a holy symbol of Myrkul would have been found. I know not if I was even robbed after this assault. My dying body was then left in a ditch to be picked apart by the birds like so much trash in the street.
I implore you, this sort of wreckless fear mongering and tyrannical behavior will only help to undermine any sort of order you wish to keep in these lands. I thereby accuse James Arrow of the Hands of Mundus of thinking it within his realm of authority to wrongfully accuse someone of fabricated wrongdoings and subsequently acting as Judge, Jury, and Executioner and thereby condemnation to an undeserved fate.

Article 2.4 of the Sundren Law Reference "Assualt and Battery"
Article 2.5 of the Sundren Law Reference "Mayhem"
Article 2.10 of the Sundren Law Reference "Obstruction of Justice"
Article 3.6 of the Sundren Law Reference "Display of Magic"
