DO YOU LONG TO LAUGH, DANCE, AND GIVE THANKS FOR A BOUNTIFUL HARVEST OR CATCH?
I find living in the light and rejoicing in Lathander's grace provides for all my spiritual and earthly needs. There are times when the darkness envelopes me and I turn my thoughts inward. I become dark in mood and depressed for my future. Then the Sun rises in the East and renews my faith and I begin to believe again in my future. The light chases away the darkness and exposes the truth. Where I was once afraid of the unknown, I now see the truth before me displayed for my consideration.
Our minds can conjure the most evil and haunting of images. These typically visit us during the darkness. But I ask you all to not fear the dark because Lathander's Grace will rise every day and renew the land, and our spirits. In the light we can all see our fears for what they are... tests of our faith in the face of all things unholy.
Undead walk amongst here in Sundren. The Black Hand works tirelessly to unseat the righteous and cast a tall and dark shadow across the Valley. Followers of Bane know only one thing - Fear. They learn to live in fear of their master. What kind of God would demand fear from its faithful? What kind of God feeds off of sorrow and plants seeds of discontent? I say it is an evil God that is turning neighbors against neighbor. I ask you all to step out of this shadow by accepting the grace of Lathander and allowing him to shine truth and knowledge upon you.
Faith in the future breeds hope. Hope lifts our spirits to new heights. As though carried on wings, our burden is lessen and we make haste towards the path of renewal. All of this begins with merely one step into the light. I ask you all to walk out into the light and let its warmth renew your faith and bring you hope so you may realize a better future awaits us all.
Walk in the light my friends.
Always in Lathander's faithful service,
Cesar Del Sol
