Grulok loomed silently over the broken body of his opponent, his Greatsword raised skyward in preperation for the killing strike. The primal fury had subsided, but he could still taste the remnants of bile which had risen with his rage. The Human had foolishly provoked his wrath and now suffered the consequences of such error. The Orcish blood within him smoldered with an inner fire, fueling his already violent temper.
"Tell me Human, why I should not end your life now?" Faintly, almost distantly, he could hear the protest of the man's female companion. Clearly, she hoped her efforts would spare his life.
Grulok slowly lowered his blade and pointed the tip at the Human's throat.
"Killing you would serve no purpose... already you lay broken and defeated at the hands of a superior opponent." The Human slowly began to rise, blood trickling from wounds he had endured.
"I shall allow you to live so you might spread word of your defeat at the Hands of Grulok Spine-Shatter. "When next we meet, perhaps your tongue shall not be so loose."
Sheathing his massive sword, Grulok turned and walked torwards the hills. Behind him, the human muttered words of protest, veiled threats of future retiribution. His words mattered little to the Orcish warrior.
