((Rp post for my next possible character. I still have to fix this up a bit, but I'll do it later!))
"Sundren?" The hooded man inquired. "I've never heard of it."
"Tis' a place you can make a new life brother, a fresh start."
"What does it matter? A fresh start..." A sneer creeped up his beshadowed face as he spat to the side.
"I mean, no one knows you there. You can be whatever you want."
"Whatever I want to be? You say it as though it where possible to be anything more than a killer." The hooded man sighed.
"A killer? You are no such thing brother you fought for the right thing."
"The right thing? Whos fucking job is it to define what is right or wrong? All I know is that their lives where ended and I was the one resposible, I was the one who took them from their families from their loved ones."
The hooded figured stood up from the stump, sheathing his newly sharpened blade.
"Death is just a part of life brother, if you tell yourself, no blame yourself for everything that has happen, you'll always live in the shadows of your past and you'll never move forward."
"Maybe its easier for you brother! You stood behind the lines casting your spells! Never did you see a mans face as you ran a sword through him, the ways their eyes widen...their final moments on this realm within your hands. Do not act as if it where so easy!" The hooded man stood from the charred rubble of what used to be a farmhouse, howling onto the new moon all of his woes.
"You are not to blame, believe me we all did what we had to. But now is not the time for you to start wasting away your life, like I said brother we can leave this place and go to this Sundren I spoke of earlier...I mean sure it might be hard, but you know its for the best."
"And do what exactly? You don't even know shit about the place you say it as though it where 'a promised land'." The figure shook his head.
"Maybe it is brother, we wont know till we get there."
"So now what? Lets say 'we' decide to go, what of our family?" The man sheathed his blade within an intricate scabbard.
"Well, I was thinking it would be best if I went back and said goodbye.. I'd hate for them to see you the way you are."
"What the hells do you mean by that?" The hooded mans head cocked up in inquiry.
"I mean, you know what I mean brother...you've change."
The hooded man chuckled. "Perhaps you are right, perhaps it is best I do not go back there, too many memories."
"Aye...well brother I suppose this is where you and I say goodbye, for now at the very least. I mean I have here the ticket to your new life."
The shadowy man looked upon the piece of parchment that was no more than a falsified passport. "What of the port authorities? I don't think this will work brother."
"Do not worry it will, I mean the hard part is getting on a ship there...once in Sundren I hear you wont need that passport. So like I said earlier, a clean slate a fresh start."
"Yeah you keep saying that but, I do not think much will change." The man paused for a moment and stood in silence. "I guess this is goodbye for now."
"Aye brother, I shall join you once I've wrapped up everything back home, I swear it."
The hooded man embraced his brother one last time before parting, walking off into the dead of night with nothing more than a blade, the clothes on his back, and the hopes for a 'fresh start' whatever that ment, guided by nothing but the moon and its glow.
