"Why is your name Tyranny?" is the question she hears from most. "My mother must have had a sense of humor," is her usual reply.
Her mother likely had hopes for the little blonde babe when she was born, naming the girl with the bright blue eyes Tyrani. And then after that, her mother was gone. Dead by childbirth, a plague that affected many women during these times. She was never sure if her mother was being sarcastic with the name, or wished for her daughter to be an evil doer. But fate would have it that the woman became a paladin. And not a paladin of Tyr, as one would think. No, she pledged herself to Torm.
The life of a paladin was a hard life, but it was rewarding. Seeing the faces of those she saved made it all worth it. Helping others, smiting evil, it is what she lived for. She was born in Damara, a cold unforgiving place. She got out of there as soon as she could, though at times she missed her home. After wandering around a bit, she stopped her search of Sariel d'Leon. The man was someone who blew into her life, and left just as quickly. His purple eyes, and pitch black hair are what drew her attention first, and his quirky personality is what made her fall in love. He was different than all the other paladins she had met, and that was refreshing. He would stray from his duties every so often, but she was always there to put him back on track. Then one day, things changed.
"I am leaving," He says, his gaze to the snow that falls from the tree branches. "But why?" She questions him, her eyes filling with tears. "Because I must," was his only response. And then he was gone, out of her life. For a while, she kept herself busy with her training and her duties, but she always missed him. She would turn a corner, expecting to see those unique eyes of him. But she was disappointed, always. After she was done with her initial training, she left Damara to search. She would hear some rumors of him passing, but she would never be able to find him. After a few months, she gave up on her search. At that time, she found herself in Sundren.
And the place was in high need of her type. Vampires about, Banites running around legally. It was horrific things. She quickly became a member of the Triumverate, seeking to perform her duties for this new place. And as fate would have it, she would find her old love Sariel d'Leon yet again.
