Darcy found herself once again in the archives of the Kelemvorite Temple in Sestra. Thankfully there was a small study table with a chair, as she had stacked around her books on various and unrelated topics. One stack of books was on the worship of snakes and Gods that favored snakes, the Mulhorandi god, Set, being the most prominent figure she had found so far.
Another stack was various rituals of the purpose of unmaking undead. Sadly, as expected, most of the research revealed ways to destroy undead, and send their souls to their final rest, and was not anything to discuss with Amilynn. She still searched, though, perhaps she could find something on the obscure ritual Amilynn was researching to return an undead creature to their mortal form. She also hoped that should she find the relevant materials, to also find the affects of reverting a soul which had been in an undead creature back to a mortal state would have on the spirit itself. If it caused irreversible damage, she knew she would have to discourage Amilynn from further pursuing her current course.
The smallest stack consisted of a single book, which contained records collected on Sundren and the surrounding valley. Unfortunately, the records collected by her temple were not particularly helpful for what she wanted to know about, and she suspected that the records of the City Archive and those of the Legion itself would have a highly biased outlook.
She had a small stack of papers at hand with her ink and quill, making notes as to what she found, in which book, for easier cross-referencing. Finally, hidden in her lap, were two small books, one was her personal journal, the other a romance novel she purchased from the Temple of Sune in Aquor. Both books made her blush, as the novel was the primary source of ideas for what she wrote in the journal recently. Except, of course, the male lead from the novel was not the man in her journal, but rather those fantasies involved someone she had been spending a lot of time with.
